An example of Redland's history is Willard’s Farm, the first farm in the area (est. 1863). As a result of its historic significance, Redland City Council purchased the farm to save it from residential development. The last remaining Redland strawberry farm is the Wellington Point farm. Due to its fresh food shop and restaurant, the farm is popular among locals. Luna Farm Organics is another local business specialising in seasonal vegetables, who sell at street markets.
