It’s time to do up our Fortitude Valley home, Barry, a bit!

Barry’s been around for a very long time and while he serves us well, he was never built to house a community radio station.

To help us better connect and amplify the voices around us, we’re fitting out a street facing studio on the St Pauls Terrace side of the building that will not only increase our capability to create more content, but also improve our accessibility. We’ll also be renovating the toilet block to install an accessible toilet, and we’re even hoping to chuck a shade over the carpark to make it an even better spot for car park gigs.

We’re looking for everyone: builders, acoustic specialists, materials like soundproof windows and shade cloths… Pretty much anything you’d need to help make our carpark a bit more of a community space!

For donated and discounted time or materials, we’d love to figure out the best way to say thank you, and we’re open to chatting about how we can return the favour.
