Review: Raven On at Brisbane Comedy Festival 2019

Let me be truthful in the fact that there are some major *SPOILERS* ahead for Raven On, presented by Act/React and performed as part of Brisbane Comedy Festival 2019 at the Brisbane City Hall. The fact that her humour is relatable and relevant? I’ll simply leave it with if you’re a Game of Thrones fan, and even if you’re not, you’re in for a real treat.

Review: 30th French Film Festival, Alliance Française de Brisbane

The red carpet was rolled out and the wine was flowing for the gala night premiere of the 30th Annual French Film Festival in Brisbane, presented by Alliance Française.  The Barracks were buzzing with one of their biggest nights of the year. Sunscreen has been cited as one of the main reasons melanoma rates are falling for those under the age of 40, but some scientists fear the overuse has contributed to the rise of vitamin D deficiency.
