Recognised as having a powerful vocal style comparable to many alternative rock vocalists from bands and artists of the 90s including Soundgarden, Silverchair, Pearl Jam and Jeff Buckley. Zaac Thompson is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Brisbane (Meanjin), Australia. Zaac captivates the audience with raw emotion and an energetic stage presence, he has been actively playing in bands and touring around multiple states of Australia since his senior years in high school. 

Brisbane's The Keepaways formed in 2015 mixing electronic, punk and rock and performing most weekends in Brisbane including one of the band's favourite sets right here in the 4zzz carpark. The band has set their sights overseas, touring Japan and performing in New Zealand. After a COVID hiatus, The Keepaways are back with the new music for the first time since 2019. With a passionate cult following that has grown over the years, this dynamic band is set to reclaim their spot in the local music scene with an exciting new single and an EP on the horizon for 2024.

Trawlers is a Meanjin-based rock band that formed in 2021. With an intuitive approach to music, Trawlers melds a mixture of Brisbane indie, 90s alternative, and introspective lyricism. The influences of local artists past and present, coalesce into jangly guitars, off-kilter bass, and lyrics that talk about life experiences and nothing beyond the front fence.

Concrete Gold has kept things loud in the music scene with their sound that can only be described as a lovechild of 90s alternative rock and modern Australian indie. Influenced by the likes of ‘Violent Soho’ ‘The Strokes’, and ‘Foo Fighters’, their performances consist of hard-hitting drums, walls of guitar, unrelenting bass, and catchy hooks and screams. The band played ‘Byron Music Fest’ and supported rock legends ‘Wolfmother’ and ‘You Am I’. Concrete Gold is here to supply a dosage of high volume levels, riffs, and energy.

We are a 4 piece punk rock band from the Sunshine coast - we are inspired and influenced by the late 90's and early 00's punk bands - we believe we write energetic, fun loving and exciting music.
