Moreton : the Spanish word for bruise.
Moreton is the excuse for singer and songwriter Georgia James to make “music with friends.” Her nostalgic voice and forthright lyrics blur the line between a confession, a memory, a prayer and a spell. Moreton’s sound is restive and shifts between the cinematic and the minimalist, bold and intimate, timeless yet inventive.
