Experts are calling for Australia’s state governments to ban cigarette sales and other tobacco products from Australian supermarkets.
Researchers from the University of Queensland say Australia needs to address the supply side of tobacco consumption as combating the issue through laws and health warnings are no longer enough.

Travellers may be required to pay $150 before crossing the border
The Queensland Government is yet to announce whether day trips across the border will require a $150 Covid test.
Current regulations state travellers must not only be fully vaccinated but also undergo a Covid test 72 hours prior to their arrival in Queensland.

Australia has seen its first successful launch of its own powered rocket
The locally made Black Sky Aerospace rocket launched from a site on the NSW Queensland border on Monday and lasted about four minutes, reaching 30,000 feet prior to parachuting successfully back down to earth.
It is said to be the first time that a locally made rocket has been launched since 1971.
