Colonoscopies, well… that's a mouthful AND hard to pronounce. Colonoscopies are like having a Go-pro camera entering your ‘opposite mouth’ side. So, when should you start routinely getting them? AND, why is the week-long preparation for them so important? Many people fail this prep stage and have to go thru that week all over again before having the procedure. 4ZZZ’s Eliot and Toni chatted with Associate Professor Graham Newstead, the Medical Director of Bowel Cancer Australia who gave us tips on how to get thru your prep as well as All things Colonoscopies

50th Program

This year 4ZZZ is celebrating its 50th Birthday and to commemorate such an occasion we’ve organised four months of celebrations.

Kicking off with Radiothon, from August 8th to December 8th, we’re rolling out a series of events that honour not only fifty years of independent music and media, but also our vast community of volunteers and supporters.

There are gigs, panel discussions, exhibitions, live broadcasts and plenty of chances to catch up with friends and celebrate what makes community radio so special.
