Red Hot Shed Rock from the 4655. City Council has been unleashed into the music scene. The band originated from the sheds and this garage rock sound is evident in their music. From the hard-hitting drums and slapping bass to the face-melting guitar and in-your-face vocals, the City Council are an energy machine.

Between writing jangly guitar pop with Meanjin / Brisbane based band Dumb Things, Renovator's Delight has crafted a melancholic yet playful body of indie songs that are just the right amounts of unvarnished and unhinged. Lead single 'Bucket of Water' is a minimalist, shimmering musing on time and distance. Too buoyant to sink, too contemplative to wash away, Bucket of Water floats above the heartbreak on the blue, sun-dappled surface.

Brisbane Heavy Blues outfit The Royal Artillery are back in 2017 with new music and tour dates through August and September in support of their debut single. Singer and guitarist Zed Charles is joined by Matthew Campbell on drums.
