Man hospitalised after near-drowning incident at Green Island
A man is in a critical condition after he was pulled unconscious from water at Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef.
Paramedics performed CPR on the man on Green Island and he was flown to Cairns Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service says it is unclear whether the incident was a near drowning or a medical incident.
Brisbane councillors set to retire at next election
