Rino: Flow-On

- Naarm/Melbourne-based, Indonesian producer Rino Darusman (that’s Ree-no, if you were wondering), has been hard at work over the last couple of, highly locked down years. Only debuting his first track back in 2020, what began as essentially chillout music or, as he put it, “dance floor with close friends, sunny day headphones music”, has become steadily bolder, more beat focused and complex.
Emma Volard: Deity

- I don’t know if you remember the old Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy song, Music & Politics. It’s Michael Franti all weighed down with the blues of a life lived for activism and music-making, often at the expense of other priorities. It’s not really a surprise to be reminded of that when listening to the new record by Emma Volard.
