Aren’t is the project of Meanjin-based musician Fionn Richards. Following a history of writing often abrasive, art-focused music, Aren’t is a return to a simpler, quieter arrangement. This melodic music is carried primarily by voice, nylon guitar, cello and piano.

MysteryShack are the last rock band. More than just a three-piece born out of Melbourne’s lockdowns in 2020. The band may be influenced by the sonic harmony of Tame Impala, the compulsive ambition of Nirvana, and the creative freedom of Pink Floyd, but MysteryShack always leave plenty of room for their own sound to radiate. The mixture of their combined vocals, dirty bass tones, mind-bending guitar riffs and ground-shaking drum beats fuse to produce a sound the band refer to as “Mystery Rock”.
