VIOLET SALT
VIOLET SALT is the indie-soul musical project and slightly edgier alter-ego of singer-songwriter, Kristy.
She cut her teeth around the Melbourne/Naarm music scene, before relocating to Brisbane/ Meanjin in mid-2021 for sunnier climes.
VIOLET SALT draws on the artist’s diverse musical influences, from her dad’s record collection, to soul and neo-soul, her indie coming of age, and confessional songwriting styles.
Her lyricism ranges from wry observations on the everyday, to poetic storytelling about big feelings.
