Black Cab: Rotsler's Rules

- Lots of things have surprised me about Rotsler’s Rules, the new record by Naarm / Melbourne band Black Cab. To begin with, while I wasn’t looking, one of my favourite little bands turned twenty-three, which doesn’t seem possible; I guess it’s their endlessly fresh-sounding retro-futurism which fooled me.

Procession: Procession

- If you’re wondering how a band that sounds like New Order found its way to the home of brutal, arty hardcore in Brisbane, Team Glasses, I’m sure you’re not the only one. I can just about imagine the hardcore-heads getting together a deputation to let the label know it’s hardcore only round here.
