We don't need no (private) education: Study

Private school attendance does not alter academic trajectories according to research published in the Australian Education Researcher last week.

The study of over 1500 students found that, when taking into account the socio economic background of the student, there were no difference in the average NAPLAN scores of students from Independent, Catholic or State schools.

The 2022 study supports existing research which shows the limited impact private education has on improving academic performance.
