Biden warns ISIS-K he "will hunt them down" after Kabul bombing
US President Joe Biden has told Americans he will hunt down and make the terrorists responsible for the overnight twin suicide bombing in Kabul pay for what they’ve done.
ISIS-K has claimed responsibility for the attacks which killed 12 US soldiers, and saw the worst day of casualties for US forces there in a decade.

Cairns local combatting reef pollution
A Facebook Group called ‘Reef Pollution, a Walk for a Solution’ has been launched by Cairns local Che Tyson to bring his local community together to minimise the amount of rubbish entering the oceans, polluting reefs and ecosystems.
Che said he is frustrated seeing rubbish on the mudflats being washed out to sea and believes the local community can do a better job at ‘keeping it in a bag’.

USC set to trial new VLP Covid vaccine
A world-first trial of a new particle Covid-19 vaccine will soon begin in Queensland, with scientists hoping they will be able to provide better protection against the virus.
The University of Sunshine Coast clinical trials of the virus-like particle vaccine or VLP for short, will be the first in the world and if effective this type of vaccine could be used to treat future strains of the virus.
Human interactions with whales disruptive
Whale researchers are calling for a ban on tours allowing people to swim with whales, saying the interactions are disturbing the marine mammals on their annual migration off Australia’s east coast.
They've been a major drawcard for the Fraser and Sunshine coasts, but a study by the not-for-profit Pacific Whale Foundation has found the tours are causing significant behavioural changes in humpback whales.
