Music festivals announce 'no jab, no jive' rule
In an Australian music industry first, a ‘no jab, no jive’ rule has been announced today for two of the country’s biggest outback music festivals.
The Outback Music festival Group says the announcement has the safety of patrons, staff, volunteers, and the local outback communities at heart, ensuring all patrons and surrounding remote communities have the best available protection against Covid-19.

The decision comes after pressure from the company’s payment providers and banking partners, with OnlyFans stating that to ensure the platform’s long-term sustainability, it must evolve its guidelines.

Moreton Bay Regional Council taking dangerous dog owners to court
Yesterday the Moreton Bay Regional Council unanimously voted on taking five owners of dangerous dogs to the Magistrates Court in the interest of community safety.
Mayor Peter Flannery says prosecution is necessary due to the severity of the attacks, and is a part of the Council’s zero tolerance policy toward irresponsible dog ownership.
Townsville shop owner paying employees $500 to not get vaccine
A Townsville security shop owner is offering his staff $500 to delay their vaccinations because he “did his own research” into Covid vaccines.
It is not known what medical or scientific qualifications he has, but Titan Security and Electrical owner Amedeo Dinardo is offering his staff a $500 bonus if they delay having a Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccination.
Splendour in the Grass postponed until 2022
In sad news for music lovers, it has been announced Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass will be postponed for the second year in a row due to Covid.
Organisers say they are confident that by moving the dates to 2022 it will finally see people enjoying the iconic festival in all its glory once again.
