Detour offers a unique dining experience in the heart of Woolloongabba. Established in 2017, they offer modern contemporary share plates, with a unique omnivore and herbivore menu along with an Australian natural wine list and Australian spirits. Set in a chic industrial dining space, they wanted to create a unique dining experience that was progressive, thought provoking, conscientious, and all inclusive. To do this they've created a menu that is almost entirely gluten-free, split into an omnivore and herbivore selection.

- Anyone who grew up in Australia in the early 1990s will fondly recall weekend mornings spent
watching either ABC’s Rage or Channel 10’s Video Hits; or, like me, alternating between the two.
Whilst Rage wore its -not always deserved- underground reputation as a badge of honour and
Video Hits was more preoccupied with the pop mega-stars of the moment, some acts featured
