A Chinese-Australian businessman has been awarded nearly $600 000 after a judge found an ABC program defamed him in 2017.
Philanthropist Chau Chak Wing sued a Four Corners episode which allegedly portrayed him as a spy and a traitor to his country.

Jorge Rodriguez, a staunch ally of President Nicolas Maduro, says Mr Lopez planned the attack with the help of former Spanish ambassador to Venezuela Jesus Silva.
Ugandan opposition leader files legal challenge to election results
Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine has filed a legal challenge in the Supreme Court seeking to annul the results of the country’s January elections.

This follows an incident last week where a minor crashed a stolen car in Brisbane, killing two people in the process.
