Dollar Bar: Pyrrhic Victory

- There’s an almost mythic status to Dollar Bar, the Brisbane stalwarts who have sporadically released output ever since first emerging in 1999. What started as a cassette with just Dale Peachey’s voice and guitar grew into one of Brisbane’s most beloved indie cult bands, culminating in this, their fourth and final album.

Rebel Yell: Fall From Grace

- Industrial-dance doyen Rebel Yell is never one to stand still: whether we're referring to the high bpm of her techno jams, her world-wide touring schedule over the last couple of years or the stylistic tweaks she brings to each new release, to keep us all guessing.

Tiny Castle: Perspectives

- Fresh on the local scene are Brisbane Indie-rockers, Tiny Castle. Announcing themselves emphatically with their debut EP, Perspectives, Tiny Castle have delivered a mature release that is more redolent of a seasoned band at the peak of their powers than a budding act making their first foray into the world.

Bad Cop/Bad Cop: The Ride

- If you were an alternative-minded teenager of a certain generation; you quite possibly have fond memories of the classic Fat Wreck Chords label samplers, along with their fellow Californian pop punk label Epitaph's Punk'o'rama series. Both rode the pop punk revival into countless suburban bedrooms, and often moreso than the actual albums released, it is those label samplers that so many people remember. They were cheap, and offered an introduction not just to a band, but to a whole world of punk rock.

Special Interest: The Passion Of...

- New wave nihilists Special Interest have returned with their second LP The Passion Of… proof undeniable of the band’s status as one of the most vital and vivacious acts in music today. On their second full length, the eclectic New Orleans four-piece shock & awe us with a piercingly precise, yet utterly deranged vision of modern anarcho punk; it’s an apocalyptic celebration of love, queerness & community amid an anxiety attack brought on by political injustice, oppression and racism.

Teyana Taylor: The Album

- Aptly titled the The Album, American singer Teyana Taylor’s third record is a statement. Beyond its stunning Grace Jones inspired artwork, The Album is a sudden and disarming formation of the past and future of R&B music.

US independence day celebrations may lead to surge in COVID-19 Cases

Medical Experts in the United States fear that Fourth of July celebrations may cause a surge of new Coronavirus cases.

Experts also suggest that the current low in reported cases, which has now dipped under 50 thousand, could be due to a lack of reporting over the national holiday. The US still has both the most infections and COVID 19 fatalities out of any other country with over one hundred and thirty thousand deaths.
