Dirty Hearts
In the heart of Australian suburbia, amid the clinking of beer bottles, half-time sirens and working-class mediocrity Dirty Hearts (Brisbane/Meanjin) has emerged as the embodiment of gritty, unapologetic, rock. Comprised of Holly Maddigan (Keyboards and Vocals), Groovey Avalon (Drums), Matt Doe (Vocals and Guitar), and Mace McGregor on bass, the hard-working quartet has become synonymous with their electrifying, unforgiving live performances and a sound that's equal parts familiar and difficult to pin down.

Ashtray Avenue
Ashtray Avenue are a rock band hailing from Brisbane, Australia. The
quartet came together mid-2023, playing music that varies in style from one
song to the next. Inspired by heavily by bands like Green Day, Nirvana, Placebo
& Muse and with songs that jumps from ska-punk to grunge to alternative rock
and even to some ‘ballady’ type tunes, the A.A. boys like to say that they are a
"trash rock” band.
