Strange readings have been discovered coming from a dead space craft reveal new evidence of water Europa.
Researchers using 21- year old data from NASA’s Galileo spacecraft have found evidence of a plume of material coming from the surface of one of Jupiter's moons.
Lori Glaze, acting director of NASA’s Planetary Science Division, spoke about how the results show that old data from long-gone spacecraft “hold a lot of secrets we haven’t yet uncovered”.
Australia marsupials suicidal mating habits land them on endangered species list
Two Australian marsupials are willing to die for love and have been added to the endangered list as a result of their suicidal mating habits.
The tiny black-tailed dusky antechinus and silver-headed antechinus are mouse-like marsupials discovered in 2013, facing struggles such as global warming and habitat loss.
Scientists are racing against the clock to save the male marsupials from themselves as their 14 hour mating sessions produce copious levels of testosterone, causing a stress hormone to destroy their organs.
NDIS leaves 8000 people waiting for assessments
The National Disability Insurance Scheme plan review system has left 8000 people waiting for over nine months to assess their disability care and funding.
A Commonwealth Ombudsman report deemed the system, "unwieldy", "unapproachable", and lacking "fairness and transparency" as it has received over 400 complaints about the review process in the past eighteen months.
Former Ipswich mayor to appear at Brisbane court
The former Mayor of Ipswich is set to appear before a Brisbane court.
He is scheduled to make his first appearance in court over seven counts of fraud.
He is the second former Ipswich Mayor to appear before a court in the last year.

Kelloggs pulling out from business in Venezuela
Cereal company Kellogg will be pulling out of Venezuela as workers were prevented from entering their factory in Maracay.
The South American country’s economic decline is to blame, with strict currency control, limited raw materials and inflation affecting businesses and residents.
But during an upcoming election rally in the wake of ongoing national crises, current President Nicolas Maduro says he intends to hand over the Kellogg facility to the workers.
Fourth journalist assassinated in Mexico
Another Mexican journalist has been assassinated in Mexico, marking the fourth killed so far in 2018.
The journo was shot dead on Tuesday morning as he was driving away from his home in Villahermosa.
The Committee to Protect Journalists have stated that two of the four killings this year have been confirmed due to the reporter’s work.
Brisbane vacant rental properties dropped below 10 000

The vacancy rate in Brisbane dropped from 3.2% to 3% from March to April, proving good news for real estate investors.
Despite the decrease in empty properties, Brisbane is still above the 2.1% national average.
