Pet Shop Boys: Hotspot

- Trilogies are very “in”, especially the grandest of them all, the trilogy of trilogies (the Star Wars Saga), and with the release of their newest longform work, the Pet Shop Boys have completed their own trilogy. Hotspot completes a cycle of work with British producer Stuart Price – Super (2016) and Electric (2013) – with the bulk of the work being realised in Berlin’s famed Hansa Studios.
Devonian: Witchcraft

- After a few years and a growing fan base in the Brisbane metal community, Devonian have just put out their debut EP Witchcraft. These four songs will certainly be familiar to anyone who has been to their shows, particularly opening track Collateral Damage which the band released as a single last year. This song does a great job of setting the scene, with blistering drums, thick crunches of guitar and the sweet/frightening vocals of powerhouse frontwoman Diletta Luna.

Vibrations From The Void
Vibrations From The Void are a new Brisbane Rock ‘n’ Roll act that fuses rock with even more rock and danceable grooves resulting in an infectious good time. Hailing from the humid depths of Brisbane the band (featuring Ryan Murr, Brendan Dawe, Peter Green and John Larney) formed in early 2019 out of the desire to play loud, frenetic, fun rock ‘n’ roll. Jaded after playing in a slew of bands around Brisbane and South East Queensland, the band was born with one mission - have fun and play music for people to move their bodies.
The Dustbin Hoffmans
We write songs about what we know, in other words songs about Brisbane. Brisbanality, Brownwater, Bradfield Highway, A Brisbane Kinda Love. Sometimes we write about other things in the universe such as dysfunctional relationships, news as entertainment and the importance of convenience. Are we a band, comedy act or a shabby cabaret show? Can we be all three at once? Brisbanality it's a strange reality!
